About the blog

I started this blog to create a space rooted in positivity and free expression. A place where we can swap ideas, share experiences, throw out recommendations, and, most importantly, support the hell out of each other. More than anything, I want to highlight women, but of course, this space is open to anyone who believes in encouraging and uplifting one another. Too often, social media is filled with negativity and competition instead of encouragement and connection, and I’m here to change that.

Thus, The Hive was born. I don’t just want this to be my space to ramble—I want it to be ours. A place where we can have real conversations, share our wins (and fails), and remind each other that we’re not alone. Whether it's deep discussions, memorable experiences, or just some good old-fashioned venting, I want to build a community that’s about empowering one another, not competing. And that includes you—your thoughts, feedback, and stories matter just as much as mine.

And when it comes to uplifting each other, I especially want to highlight women-owned businesses. My mom is one of the hardest-working women I know and watching her build her own business from the ground up is exactly what pushed me to stop talking about my ideas and actually make them happen. I want to use this space to amplify the incredible work of women turning their dreams into reality and to inspire others to chase theirs too.

I have so many ideas for where this blog can go, but right now, my focus is on building a community that means something. All good things come with time, right? So, if you’re here, stick around a while—you just might find exactly what you didn’t know you needed.
